A global optical company required a custom class 100k cleanroom to increase manufacturing yields. Special requirements were that the cleanroom had to be built around 80 existing machines with only doors of machines in cleanroom, include replace existing insufficient AC, and gowning room big enough for large work force. In addition, the cleanroom had to be built during weekends to avoid disruption to production. American Cleanroom Systems built a custom class 100k cleanroom around existing machines, added gown rooms, two air showers, epoxy flooring and 60 tons of new air conditioning to meet the customer’s needs.
