Hybrid Cleanroom

American Cleanroom Systems was hired to build a new 8,095 S.F. ISO-6 cleanroom for an electronics component manufacturer in Pacific Northwest. The assembly schedule was just 12 weeks to allow customer to shut down an existing smaller cleanroom and re-use motorized doors, return air walls, and HEPA fan filter units to save money.

American Cleanroom Systems completed on-site assembly in only 10 weeks - 2 weeks faster than schedule.

Special requirements included moving motorized doors, return walls and HEPA FFUs from existing cleanroom to new location, 2 stage ISO-7/ISO-8 material airlock with interlocked automatic motorized sliding doors, 3 door ISO-7 gown room with interlocked swing doors, ISO-6 black light QA room, two conveyor openings, and 7,275 S.F. ISO-6 main manufacturing room.

American Cleanroom Systems delivered a six-figure value-engineering cost reduction by utilizing existing 1st floor ceiling as roof of negative pressure plenum and using exterior hallway on 3 sides of cleanroom as air return walls.
