Cleanrooms are most common for beverage bottle filling operations but also for some food products. Since the bottles are often filled and sealed at elevated temperatures in moist steam filled environments, preventing contamination is very important.

Typical Food Cleanroom Features Include:

  • Sloped heat welded vinyl floors with integral cove and floor drains are used to reduce moisture build up on the cleanroom floor that could encourage bacteria or mold growth. The heat welded vinyl floor is extremely durable and allows for vigorous regular chemical cleaning of the floor.
  • FRP or stainless steel cleanroom walls to allow regular chemical cleaning.
  • HVAC to control temperature and humidity in food cleanrooms.
  • Recessed HEPA filtration to prevent moisture from reaching HEPA filters
